Voting Question: What are some cheap Artificial Snow Surfaces for Preseason Snowboarding that can be home made?

I’m waiting for the snow season to start and would like to practice preseason. Its not cold enough where i live to keep snow yet so artificial snow is out of the question. Ive tryed putting galvanized steel down and coating it with dish soap but that dosent work well. Is there anything i could put down like fiberglass etc to emulate snow. Ive also tryed carpet on a slope but that didn’t work to well. I’m interested in rails boxes and a surface to ride on.
